Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas have finally ended their silence about why they canceled their concert--and the news isn't good.
After noting a "deep rift within the band" as the initial cause of their split and then going mostly quiet on break up matters, except for the tweets Nick and Joe sent last week, they've finally given their official statement.
Kevin told People.com, "It's over for now."
Will the Jonas Brothers get back together?
Nick gave a small glimmer of hope, noting, "It's really hard to say 'forever,'" but added, "We're closing a chapter, for sure."
Joe added, "It was a unanimous decision."
Why did the Jonas Brothers break up?
People.com reports that when the guys met on October 3, Nick was concerned about the band's future, explaining, "I was feeling kind of trapped. I needed to share my heart with my brothers."
